 LITHUANIA Play therapy was introduced in Greece in various forms. The Klaipėda Litorina School introduces a digital board game for the Lithuanian language to motivate and interest children in the subject.

In November, the Special Gymnasium Lyceum of Athens invited us all to take a trip on a train. A train - to be exact - that is rolling through Europe and spreading the influence of art therapy, as well as inspiring pupils with special needs to socialize and integrate within the society. The representatives from Greece have chosen to present the games therapy method. A method that has successfully been applied in their school. The first day of the meeting has been delegated to sports games. Colleagues from Greece give great attention to sports. This is not only due to the fact that Greece is the capital of the Olympic Games but also because the therapy method inclusive of sports games plays a major role in the education of pupils with physical disabilities at the Special Gymnasium Lyceum of Athens. CHRISTMAS THERAPHY

Every emotionally joyful moment can play a therapeutic role in the education of children with special needs. Making Christmas decorations developed fine motor skills, helped to learn the names of colours and the symbolism of holidays. Preparing for the holidays helped them to understand and name their feelings and experiences. LITHUANIA ROMANIA

EMOTIONAL EDUCATION

Experiments can trigger positive emotional states and encourage children to use their experimental experiences in other activities. Experimentation brings joy and new experiences, and for visually impaired Romanian children it is a kind of miracle that helps them to better understand the world they live in. With cheap and convenient tools, experiments are easy to do and teaching children is easier, more dynamic and more fun!

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

  Not all classes are between four walls. Visually impaired children from ROMANIA learn many useful things during the thematic excursions: - greening at the seashore,  - pottery and clay modelling.

MUSIC THERAPY CONTINUES

ROMANIA  "Ode to Joy".  Estonian music therapy lessons brought to a Romanian school. ESTONIA Estonian students do relaxation exercises, which were also included in our project. One week it's the girls' turn, the next week it's the boys' turn and so on. They lie down, listening to relaxing music with the lights dimmed. Sometimes they are read a book. This kind of therapy relieves tension and fatigue.
